ALESSANDRO RABOTTINI

Alessandro Rabottini (1976) is a writer and curator, currently the artistic director of the Fondazione In Between Art Film.
He was previously artistic director of miart, external curator of the Museo Madre in Naples, and chief curator of GAMeC in Bergamo. He has curated solo exhibitions and retrospectives of the work of Andrea Anastasio, Gianfranco Baruchello, Keren Cytter, Latifa Echakhch, Giuseppe Gabellone, Massimo Grimaldi, John Latham, David Maljkovic, Marcello Maloberti, Victor Man, Adrian Paci, Robert Overby, Walid Raad, Pietro Roccasalva, Tim Rollins & KOS, Sterling Ruby, Ettore Spalletti, and Danh Vo.

In addition, he has curated exhibitions and publications for institutions including the Bergen Kunsthall, the Center d’Art Contemporain in Geneva, GAM in Turin, Le Consortium in Dijon, MAXXI L’Aquila, PAC and La Triennale di Milano in Milan, and the Accademia di Francia in Rome.

He has contributed to museum catalogs on the practice of Michael Anastassiades, Cecily Brown, Chiara Camoni, Formafantasma, Thao Nguyen Phan, Ugo Rondinone, Dana Schutz, Piotr Uklański and Paloma Varga Weisz.
